10 things to look out for at Salomon Skyline Scotland 2022
Skyline Scotland is the highlight of the trail running and sky running calendar, and with two new races, this year is shaping up to be more exciting than ever.
Here are 10 things to look out for at this year’s event:
1. The brand NEW Ultra – the Lochaber 80
Brand new for 2022, the Salomon Lochaber 80 Trail Ultra is the longest distance available this year at Salomon Skyline Scotland. Go on a tour of the true Scottish wilderness, as you pass through the remote glens and beautiful forests of the Lochaber region. Don't forget! this course is fully marshalled, waymarked and signed, so that you can focus on some fantastic running through the stunning Scottish Highlands!

Another new edition to the Skyline Scotland line-up, the Salomon Mamores Stalker 27km is the perfect trail running test. Enjoy varied terrain, delightfully tricky descents and the stunning scenery that you would expect of the Scottish Highlands. Just like the Lochaber 80, this new 27km is also part of the Spartan Trail World Championship.
