19:00 – FILMS PART 1

  • Weightless -  6 mins Take to the skies with Jean-Baptiste Chandelier as he brings us along for the ride on a breathtaking journey from the French Alps to the coast of South Africa, from the Azores islands to the beaches of Brasil, in his latest video short, WEIGHTLESS. Experience the thrills of paragliding first hand with a birds-eye view of some incredible locations. Feel the wind in your face and see the world beneath your feet, gliding between church steeples, skimming along coastlines and looping the loop over volcanic craters in this spectacular illustration of precision flying.

  • Where the Wild things play - 4 mins - There's a revolving conversation of asking why aren't there more females in the adventure industry whether its big mountian skiing, filmmakers, big wall climbers and so forth.

  • The Invincibles 3 min - The film explores the story of Tom Bermingham, Mairead Ni Mhaoileóin and Tom McCarthy, three open water swimmers who are dedicated to the water all year round – rail, hail or shine.

  • Ramsay’s Round - 20 mins - American athlete Alicia Hudelson returns to the Scottish Highlands to attempt the classic Ramsay's Round.

  • Dreamride 2 - 5 minutes - Step into a dream world were the trails never end. DreamRide 2 is the follow up sequel to last years award winning short film, DreamRide. Combining a Dr.Suess inspired narrative, mind blowing natural landscapes, and one dreamer on a mountain bike, this film will take you on an adventure like no other.

  • Cuchullian - 8 minutes - Cúchulainn. A name from the heroes of old. Evocative of the often dark and foreboding spires of the Cuillin ridge. This episode passes through moments on these slopes, those who explore and find a way upon them, and those who put themselves at risk for the sake of others. Featuring Ian “Spike” Sykes, a member of the Skye RAF Mountain Rescue team in the 1960’s, a banjo, and Skye’s iconic ridge.

19:55 – 15-minute break for tea/coffee/cake

20:10 – FILMS PART 2

  • Afterglow - 8 minutes - Lit up skiing film

  • Surf the Line - 2 mins - For The Flying Frenchies, thinking out of the box isn’t a choice – it’s a way of life. The latest video from this multi-talented collective sees them head to the Vercors mountain range in their homeland, where they slice through the air on a 600m-high highline, reaching speeds of up to 75kph zipline-style before using their BASE-jumping skills to dismount with impressive grace and style.

  • In Perpetual motion - 5 mins - There is no singular shot that defines a photographers career as it is about the process of photography and the fine balance between passion and obsession. A short film that explores the work of Adventure Photographer Krystle Wright and the different tangents of fear that weaves between her life and her work.

  • Imagination - 5 mins - Imagine a skier on the side of the road, your fingers commanding back flips and roof drops, improbable rail slides and huge airs. Well what if your imagination came to life?

  • Denali’e Raven - 10 mins

  • Dawn to Dusk - 2mins Throughout the Southwest, legends surf the pavement at speeds nearing 80mph. In search of mountain passes, desert highways, and hairpin turns - embrace the spirit of Dre Nubine and Jonah Strait as they explore Colorado and Utah.
