Enjoy our buzzing event village in 2022!

The Skyline Scotland® event village is located right next to the Ice Factor in the centre of Kinlochleven. Here you will find food and drink options, exhibiting outdoor brands like Salomon and La Sportiva, free talks in the form of the Skyline Sessions, live music and prize ceremonies, and the chance to spectate by the start / finish line of all the Skyline Scotland® races with live commentary and race updates via the big screen TV.

Food & drink

James' speciality coffee bar​

"Our coffee and cocoa is organic and fairtrade, it is lovingly roasted and served by someone who cares. Thats why we think it's awesome!" Find out more about them here

BASE Pizza will be producing a menu of delicious vegetarian and vegan pizzas.

Serving Top Out Brewery IPAs on cask and delicious hot food, both inside out outside, including:

Chillers bar will be open until late Friday – Sunday evening.

Workshops and other activities

More activities are now being confirmed for the 2022 event. This includes yoga, route planning and bouldering for sky runners.

Skyline Sessions - 2022 programme 

Join us for these free to attend Q&A sessions in the Skyline Sessions tent. 

Meet some of your favourite athletes as well as some local adventure heroes.

Saturday 17th September

  • 2pm - Ross Brannigan, author of newly released Running Adventures Scotland
  • 3pm - Brian Sharp, local ultra-runner and RAB sponsored athlete 
  • 4pm - Elsey Davis, mountain runner and winner of the 2021 Salomon Ring of Steall 
  • 5pm - Katie Kaars Sijpesteijn, ultra-runner holding course records for the SILVA Lakes Traverse, Montane Lakeland 50 and Salomon Ben Nevis Ultra

Sunday 18th September 

  • 12noon - Jacob Snochowski, La Sportiva sponsored athlete and holder of the Dales Way FKT    
  • 2pm - Tom Owens, ultra-runner who came 4th in the UTMB in 2019

The start / finish line

Enjoy the amazing atmosphere and buzz of a big international event by watching the exciting moments from the start / finish line. There will be live race commentary and live race updates from around the courses via the big screen TV.

This is the best place to cheer in friends or family as they finish racing and receive a finishers medal.
