Covid-19 update

Scotland have now moved out of the levels system and there are no restrictions on numbers to attend an outdoor free-standing event.

Whilst we recognise that most legal restrictions have been lifted, we as event organisers have completed a risk assessment and have a duty of care to our staff, participants, and members of the public to minimise the spread of Covid-19 at the event.

We ask that you follow the below guidance at Salomon Skyline Scotland 2021:

Prior to event arrival

  • Please consider completing a COVID test (either LFT or PCR) before you arrive at the event - FIND OUT MORE HERE
  • Remember the symptoms - continuous cough, fever or loss of taste/smell. The delta variant which is now most common has symptoms of headache/runny nose/sore throat. If you have these symptoms PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP AT THE EVENT.
  • If taking public transport, please consider facemasks and physical distancing.
  • Please bring a facemask & hand sanitizer to the event.

Registration

  • It will be mandatory to wear a facemask inside the registration marquee.

At the event

  • It will be mandatory to wear a facemask inside the Ice Factor and in the start pen.
  • Where possible please maintain a physical social distance of 1m. Refrain from physical contact with fellow participants and event team.
  • When physical social distancing of 1m is not possible we recommend wearing a facemask.
  • Use the hand sanitiser stations available for personal hygiene.
  • Proximity, Location and Duration - remember if you're inside an enclosed venue, cut the time spent inside short.
  • If you at any point show symptoms or signs of Covid-19 inform a member of the event medical team immediately.
