In the Event Village

There was a brilliant atmosphere in the Event Village with brands such as Salomon, VAGA, Harvey Maps, La Sportiva, and Petzl exhibiting. There was also food, coffee and beer from Leven Ales, Turnip the Beet, and Base Pizza to name just a few, plus some fab music from Cask Strength. Younger runners enjoyed the fun run and there was also the speedy Grey Mare's 5km Trail Race to enjoy!

Sunday 17th September

Salomon Glen Coe Skyline®

Some stormy Scottish weather put an early stop to the Glen Coe Skyline, with the course finishing at Checkpoint 9. However runners still had to tackle the famous Curved Ridge, and it was a tough day out there for our incredible participants. Congratulations to Philip Rutter and Naomi Lang for winning the last ever edition of the Glen Coe Skyline!

Salomon Ben Nevis Ultra™

Unfortunately yesterday’s sunshine did not hold, so the bad weather route was brought into play on the Salomon Ben Nevis Ultra. However, this did not stop David Haunschmidt and Alicia Schwarzenbach who were this year’s winners!

The 10/18/27km Trail Races

There were three further Trail Races on the Sunday morning, which proved hugely popular with runners of all abilities! While the rain added an extra level of challenge, the fabulous Scottish views were still enjoyed by all. Finishers continued to come in throughout the afternoon with plenty of smiles and sprint finishes as they crossed the line to many cheers from supporters!
