New Trail Races Launched
24th Jun 2019
Introducing three all new trail races for 2019
With super-steep ascents and zig-zagging rocky trails, could the Grey Mare’s Trail Race be Britain's toughest 5km? But don't forget to also look up for the fantastic views of Loch Leven and the surrounding Munros. Or maybe the Loch Eilde Mór Trail Race is for you? This 10km will take you through gorgeous woodland to more remote territory and the lovely Loch Eilde Mór via some steep climbing. You will eventually be rewarded by tremendous views on the returning descent to the buzz of the Event Village at Kinlochleven. Feeling bold? Then go for the 18km Three Mealls Trail Race and enjoy the biggest hills, the widest views and the most memorable single-track running.
Club runner? You are warmly welcomed to compete, with full recognition given to club name in the entry lists and official race timing for all three Trail Races. Is your club eligible to enter a team to compete for the Club Shield?
U18? You are eligible to enter two of the three new races.
News Flash! Under 18 entries are Half Price!
The Trail Races use the same Start/Finish arena as the already established Salomon Skyline Scotland™ races, and the starting times are close too, allowing all participants to enjoy a similar level of atmosphere and event buzz!
This also means that friends and family attending to watch participants of the established skyrunning events could run the Trail Races while they wait!
How to Enter?
Entries to Skyline Scotland Trail Races are NOT vetted. They are sold on a first-come, first-served basis until each race is full. Simply complete the online entry form, and bingo - you have a place!
Interest in the event is exceptional and we anticipate the trail races selling out. Please enter early to avoid disappointment - first-come, first-served.
