This year's Salomon Skyline Scotland® will be the last in Kinlochleven. There will be no 2024 edition before the event relaunches in an exciting new venue in 2025.

We have a clear vision of the potential for Skyline Scotland® to be a truly world-class trail-running event, and to make this happen, we have made the difficult decision to relocate from Kinlochleven. 

Therefore, 2023 will be the last edition of Skyline Scotland® in Kinlochleven. We would all like to express our sincere thanks to the residents, landowners, businesses, community groups and organisations that have warmly welcomed us over many years. 

To be clear, this year will be the last opportunity to race all of our existing courses before the event relocates.

A significant amount of feasibility planning has already been completed assessing several potential venues across Scotland that are vying to host Skyline Scotland®. Whilst these arrangements are being finalised, and to give us sufficient time to consult and re-organise the event, we have decided not to organise a 2024 edition: a fallow year if you like.

Skyline Scotland® will return in 2025 reimagined and reenergized. You can expect a much bolder and more exciting version of the event, that will stand shoulder to shoulder with the other major European and World trail-running events.
